International Coaching Federation Luxembourg

Dear Coaches and Friends of the Coaching Community,

While the entire team from ICF Luxembourg hopes that you stay well during the global COVID-19 outbreak, we regret to inform you that the May 18th Conference with Katia Vlachos and Michael Watkins has been postponed until further notice.

However, we would like to assure you that we will contact you with information as soon we have new updates.

This outbreak will impact all of us in some way—personally, in our families and in our communities. Coaching is a caring profession and ICF Luxembourg is a caring organisation. We hope that you feel you can reach out to us for support during these uncertain times. We will do our best to shift from in person to virtual events whenever possible and our lines of communication will always remain open.

There is no doubt that this is a tumultuous time but as we face this crisis, your ICF Luxembourg team welcomes the opportunity to partner with you to serve our communities.

PREPARE YOUR NEXT MOVE

Join us for an extremely rare opportunity to engage with Michael Watkins - named one of the World's Most Influential Business Thinkers and Katia Vlachos, Ex-Pat coach featured in the Financial Times Business books of the month.

Author of the bestseller “The First 90 Days”, Watkins is also co-founder of Genesis, a leadership development consultancy. Michael was named one the World's Most Influential Business Thinkers in December 2019 by Thinker 50 which identifies and ranks the top 50 management thinkers globally.

Watkins advises CEOs taking new roles, both externally hired and internally promoted. He works with them to plan their entry into their organizations and to create momentum once they are there.  He supports them in working with their boards, building teams and transforming their organizations.

Watkins is the author of 11 books published by Harvard Business Review as well as numerous articles on the subjects of leadership, organizational change and negotiation.  Prior to his current posting as  Professor at the IMD Business school based in Zurich and Boston, Watkins taught at INSTEAD, Harvard Business School and Harvard University.

Katia Vlachos has over 20 years’ experience as an expat in 7 countries and is a specialist coach on integrating issues. Vlachos' research and writing provides the principles and proven success you need to make a successful international move. She addresses the practical issues of a move but most importantly the emotional aspects on the whole family.

Author of “A Great Move: Surviving and Thriving in Your Expat Assignment”, Katia has developed a framework which helps individuals define what home means--which could range from the landscape to home settings and, of course, people--and, by doing so, simplify the process of constructing home in a new setting.

Vlachos is a researcher and defense analyst by training, with a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the RAND Corporation and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

You will not want to miss this opportunity to engage with Katia Vlachos and Michael Watkins as they identify and address the personal and professional challenges that an increasingly mobile workforce presents and how to navigate them successfully.

Join us on May 18th for a hands-on, interactive session, when our two transition experts will help you prepare for your next expat assignment, and the one after that...
